The main thing I noticed with this release is that it has the option to scan the on air program guide in the background when it is active.
The same. No analog which many low power local stations now use. Need to load codecs to optimize its performance. I still love it! Simple, small and does what I want. I've used the other bloated programs including Windows Media Center. This new version is even better.
Maybe not for those who don't know how to install codecs. It really shines when tweaked with right ones. This is still my favorite DVR software for my laptop and I use it almost everyday. Works great on Windows 7 bit with the right codecs installed. Very low resource use recording in background.
